Play for real! NEOM signs a $20 billion contract

NEOM (New Future City) has signed a $5 billion contract with the Italian company Webuild to construct three dams, with an expected completion date in 2026. The main dam will be 145 meters high and 475 meters long.

Trojena, located in a temperate climate zone, is suitable for various sports and adventures. It will feature a 36-square-kilometer ski slope and include over 100 cultural and entertainment activities. The entire area will have 3,620 hotel rooms, a 42,000-square-meter retail and dining area. It is also set to be a venue for the 2029 Winter Asian Games.
