- Saudi Arabia's container handling volume has surged from the global 24th position in 2022 to the 16th position in 2023, while its logistics efficiency ranking has risen from 55th in 2022 to 38th in 2023.
- Saudi Arabia is allocating $1 billion for the construction of five new logistics centers.
- The construction of 28 new maritime trade centers is underway to connect Saudi Arabian ports with the rest of the world.
- An investment of $1.86 billion is being made to establish container terminal stations.
