Halo Space, an Italian company, has announced the establishment of a base in Saudi Arabia to promote space tourism. According to company documents, Saudi Arabia will serve as a test base for the company's Prototype Capsule No. 2, which will sail in a 32-kilometer orbit above the Earth.
The company plans to conduct its sixth launch test in Saudi Arabia next June and build four bases around the world, including the United States and Saudi Arabia.
The company's space travel program will transport ordinary people to the edge of outer space, providing a 360-degree panoramic view of the Earth. The estimated cost per person is $200,000.
Saudi Arabia is currently investing heavily in the aerospace industry.
