At the investment conference held in Beijing, the two countries signed 60 agreements and memoranda of understanding, with a total value of 26.5 billion US dollars.
The conference saw the participation of 1,200 government and private sector representatives, led by the Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia and the Deputy Minister of Commerce of China.
Wang Wentao, the Minister of Commerce of China, stated that the conference demonstrated the determination of China and Saudi Arabia to cooperate and also highlighted Saudi Arabia's support for the Belt and Road Initiative.
